How selling works
Gold sell, Indirapuram: the three numbers any buyer must show you

Selling gold in Greater Noida West? Ask us about your piece before you decide.
Call 9217742656WhatsAppFor a gold sell in Indirapuram, Vaishali, Vasundhara or Kaushambi, ask every buyer for three numbers: the purity on the karatmeter screen, the weight of gold after stones and clasps, and the rate used for that purity. A buyer who gives you only one total has hidden all three. Do not hand over anything until you have seen each number on its own.
We are Cash for Gold - Sona Do Paise Lo, in Noida Extension (Greater Noida West), and pickups cover Delhi NCR. The checks below work at any counter, ours or someone else's. For the full picture, see the Indirapuram page.
What are the three numbers I should ask for?
- Purity. The karatmeter reading, in karat or as a 916-style figure.
- Weight. Grams of actual gold, after stones, enamel and clasps are accounted for.
- Rate. The per-gram rate for that purity, on that day.
The money for your piece comes from these three together. The figure itself is worked out at the counter once your gold is tested. It is never worth trusting before that, and never worth trusting without the inputs.
How do I check purity at the table or counter?
Ask to watch the test. The piece should be rubbed or scanned on the karatmeter, and the screen should be turned towards you. Read the number yourself. Then compare it with the stamp on the piece.
Many pieces in Indirapuram homes are from showroom purchases in the khands: Ahinsa Khand, Niti Khand, Vaibhav Khand and the Shipra Suncity side. They usually carry a 22 karat or 916 stamp. A stamp is a claim. The screen is the test. If the two differ, ask why before you go further. Our page on how the karatmeter reading is taken shows the steps, and what a karat stamp does not tell you covers the gap.
If a buyer will not test in front of you, or tests in a back room, that is your answer. Pick up your gold and leave.
Why does weight after stones and clasps matter in a gold sell?
Stones, meena and clasps weigh something, but they are not gold. A set with stone drops can look heavy on the scale and hold much less gold than it seems. A buyer who gives only a total may be counting that extra weight at the gold rate, or quietly cutting it and not saying so.
Ask for two figures: the gross weight on the scale, and the gold weight after deductions. Ask which parts were taken off and why. We buy gold only. We do not buy stones, so the weight we count is the gold. The post on stones, meena and clasps explains the deductions.
Sellers in this belt often bring bridal sets, long chains and bangles from weddings. These are the pieces most likely to carry stones and hooks, so check weight with extra care.
Which rate should I be shown?
The rate must be the one for your purity. A 22 karat piece and an 18 karat piece are not paid at the same per-gram rate. Ask the buyer to say the rate out loud, then compare it with the rate page before you sit down. If you want the background, read why the published rate is not your payout and why two shops quote different rates.
A buyer who says "rate is good, I will give you a total" is not showing a rate at all. Ask again for the per-gram figure.
What does a buyer who gives only a total hide?
Three things can sit behind one total:
- A lower purity reading than the one on your stamp.
- A weight with stones and clasps cut more than needed.
- A rate lower than the one for your purity.
You cannot tell which one it is from the total alone. That is the point. Once you have all three numbers, you can multiply them yourself, and you can ask the next shop the same questions. Writing the numbers on your phone costs nothing.
Should I go to the counter or ask for a pickup?
Indirapuram has a Muthoot and several jeweller showrooms that take old gold as exchange. An exchange often folds the three numbers into a credit against a new piece. That can be fine if you want new jewellery. If you want cash, ask for the three numbers there as well, then compare. Our post on cash for gold or exchange at a jeweller sets out the trade-off.
If you want to bring the gold to us, the route is NH-24 / Delhi-Meerut Expressway side towards Crossings Republik, then into Greater Noida West. It is about 20 to 30 minutes outside peak hours (map estimate). The same checks apply at our counter, and you are welcome to ask for them.
A pickup is the right call if you have a heavy set, if an older family member is selling, or if you do not want to carry gold across the Hindon. Pickup covers Indirapuram, Vaishali, Vasundhara and Kaushambi and is usually the same half-day. The three numbers are shown at your door in the same way. Read carrying gold safely if you prefer to come over.

What if the numbers do not suit me?
Then you say no, and nothing is lost. Nothing has to happen today. Take your time, ask a second buyer, and bring your three numbers with you. If you want to talk it through first, call or WhatsApp 9217742656 and we will tell you what a visit or pickup involves before you commit.
Questions people ask
What three numbers should a gold buyer show me? Purity from the karatmeter screen, the weight of gold after stones and clasps, and the per-gram rate for that purity. If any of the three is missing, ask for it before you agree.
Can I watch the karatmeter test? Yes, and you should. The screen should face you and the reading should be said aloud. If a buyer refuses, take your gold elsewhere.
Is a gold sell in Indirapuram different from one in Ghaziabad? The three numbers are the same anywhere. The difference is the trip: for Indirapuram it is across the Hindon, about 20 to 30 minutes outside peak hours (map estimate), or a home pickup. See also the Ghaziabad page.
