Selling gold in Greater Noida West? Ask us about your piece before you decide.
Call 9217742656WhatsAppIf you have purana sona bechna hai and would rather not carry it on the road, a home pickup is a sensible way to do it. You send a photo and rough weight on WhatsApp, get a range, agree a time, and the gold is tested at your own table while you watch. We are in Noida Extension (Greater Noida West), and pickups cover Delhi NCR. There is no charge for the visit and no obligation to sell.
Purana sona bechna hai: how does a home pickup work?
Here is the whole visit, in order.
- You message first. Send a clear photo of the gold and a rough weight on WhatsApp. If you do not know the weight, say so. A guess is fine at this stage.
- You get a range, not a final figure. A photo cannot show purity, so the range is only a starting point. The real figure is worked out after the test.
- We agree a time, the same day where we can. You pick a time when someone is home and the family is comfortable.
- The test happens at your table. We test the gold on a karatmeter with the screen facing you. You see the reading as we do. For how that reading is taken, read how a karatmeter reading is taken.
- You hear the figure and decide. The figure comes from three inputs: purity, weight and the day's rate. If it does not suit you, say no. We pack up and leave. Nothing is charged.
- If you say yes, you are paid before we leave. Cash or bank transfer, your choice, in your hands before anyone walks out of the door.
Nothing has to happen today. You can send a photo, read the range, and think for a week.
Why would I choose a pickup over carrying the gold myself?
Most people choose a pickup for one of three reasons.
- You would rather not travel with gold. A bag of jewellery on an auto or a metro is a worry. At home, there is no such worry. We have written separately about carrying gold safely.
- The person selling cannot easily go out. This may be an elderly parent, or someone recovering from illness, or a family with small children.
- You want the family to see it. Gold often belongs to more than one person. A pickup lets everyone sit together and watch the test.
If you live in Noida proper, the same service works there. Our Noida page covers Sector 18, Sector 75 and the Expressway sectors. If you are closer to us, the Noida Extension page explains the local trip. There is more on the home option in selling gold without leaving home in Noida.
What should I ask so the visit runs properly?
Ask these before you confirm a time. A good buyer answers each one plainly. You can ask us the same.
- Will the test happen in front of me, with the screen facing me? If the answer is "we will take it and check later", do not agree.
- Is there any charge if I say no? The answer should be none.
- Will I be paid before you leave? Ask for cash or transfer on the spot. Not "tomorrow" and not "after the office checks".
- How is the figure worked out? You should hear purity, weight and rate named as separate things. If you want to understand why the number in the news differs, read why the published rate is not your payout.
- Do I have to sell if the figure is lower than I hoped? The answer should be no.
For a longer list, see five questions to ask any buyer.
What should I keep ready at home?
Keep it simple. Put the pieces on one clean table with good light. Keep your photo ID nearby, because a buyer has to note who is selling. If you do not have your ID, read what happens if you do not have your ID. The original bill is not required. See selling gold without a bill.
If a piece has stones or enamel, we weigh only the gold. We do not buy the stones themselves. The post on stones, meena and clasps explains how that affects the weight.
Also decide, before we arrive, who will take the decision. If a spouse or a parent should be present, wait until they are home. Someone selling gold under pressure deserves a calm room, not a crowded one.
When is the counter the better choice?
A pickup is not always the right answer. Choose the counter when:
- You have a lot of small pieces and want to compare. At the counter you can sit longer, ask more questions and ask for a second test.
- You want to see the shop first. If you are selling for the first time, seeing the place may settle your mind. Our visit page shows where we are.
- You live very close. In Gaur City or Sector 16, the trip may be shorter than the wait for a pickup. See selling gold near Gaur City.
- You want to wait out the decision. Nothing is lost by visiting later.
The test and the payment are the same at the counter. Only the place changes. For a fuller comparison, read is a home pickup the same thing as the counter.
Can I say no after the test?
Yes. This is the part people worry about most, so it is worth saying clearly. The visit is free and carries no obligation. If the figure is lower than you hoped, you may keep your gold and we leave. Take the reading and compare it with another buyer if you like. Our cash for gold page describes the steps for the circle around us. If you prefer to read in Hindi, the gold bechna hai page says the same thing.
Before any visit, you can also check the day's rate yourself on the gold rate page. The rate is one of three inputs, and knowing it helps you follow the figure we give.
If you still have purana sona bechna hai but are not sure where to begin, start with a photo. Call or WhatsApp 9217742656 to ask whether a pickup reaches your address, or to ask any question about the process.
Questions people ask
Is there a charge for a home pickup? No. The visit is free and you are under no obligation to sell. If you say no after the test, we leave and you pay nothing.
Can I get cash at home when I sell old gold? Yes. After the karatmeter test and your agreement, you are paid by cash or bank transfer before we leave your home.
Will the range I get on WhatsApp be the final amount? No. A photo cannot show purity. The range is a starting point, and the final figure is worked out after the test at your table. You may call or WhatsApp 9217742656 if you want to talk it through first.
