For a gold sell from the Noida Expressway sectors, ask any buyer for three numbers before you hear a total: the purity on the karatmeter screen, the weight after stones and clasps, and today's rate for that purity. A buyer who gives you only a total has given you nothing you can check. We are Cash for Gold - Sona Do Paise Lo, in Noida Extension (Greater Noida West), and our pickups cover Delhi NCR.

What are the three numbers for a gold sell on the Noida Expressway?

  1. Purity. The karat reading of your piece, shown on the screen, such as 22 karat or 18 karat.
  2. Weight. The grams of gold left after the stones, meena and clasps are taken out of the count.
  3. Rate. The rate for that purity, on that day, that the buyer is using.

Your payout comes from these three inputs together. If one is missing, you cannot tell which one moved the total. That is why we say them out loud, one at a time, before we say any figure. The figure for your piece is worked out at the counter, after the test.

How do I check the purity at the table or the counter?

Ask to see the karatmeter screen. The piece is tested while you watch, and the reading is on the display, not in the buyer's head.

Do not rely on the stamp alone. A "916" stamp on a chain from the Expressway sectors may be honest or may not. The meter reading is what the buyer should price from. If the reading comes lower than the stamp, ask for a second reading on the same piece. Read what happens if your gold tests lower than the stamp says before you argue about it.

At a pickup, this test happens at your table, in your flat in Sector 93, 108 or 137. You should not have to hand the piece over first.

How is the weight counted when there are stones and clasps?

Many sets in Expressway homes carry stones, meena work or heavy clasps. Those parts are not gold, and we do not buy stones. So the scale reading is not the gold weight.

Ask the buyer:

  • What did the whole piece weigh?
  • What did you subtract for stones and clasps, and how?
  • What is the gold weight you are pricing?

A buyer who says only "about 20 grams" has not told you which of these he means. Our post on stones, meena and clasps shows how the parts are separated, and why the weight reads less than you expected covers the usual surprise.

What rate should the buyer use for my gold sell?

The rate must match your purity, not 24 karat. A 22 karat piece is priced at the 22 karat rate, and the buyer should say which rate that is. You can check the day's reference on the gold rate page before anyone quotes you.

The published rate in the news is a starting point. It is not your payout. Why the published rate is not your payout explains the gap. If you are unsure how to compare shops, see how to check the gold rate properly before you sell.

What does a buyer hide when he gives only a total?

A bare total can be built from a low purity, a generous deduction for "wastage", or an old rate, and you would never see which. Three numbers close that gap. If the buyer will not state them, take your gold home.

Nothing has to happen today. You can ask for the numbers, compare them, and decide later. There is no pressure from us, and you should not accept any from anyone else.

Should I take the pickup or go to the counter from the Expressway?

There is no gold buyer along the Expressway itself, so a pickup is the normal answer for sectors 93, 94, 100, 104, 108, 110, 128, 132, 137, 142, 143, 150 and 168. This is how it works:

  1. Send a photo and rough weight on WhatsApp.
  2. You get a range, and a time the same day.
  3. The test happens at your table, with the three numbers said aloud.

The counter is about 16 km from Sector 137, which is about 35 to 50 minutes by map estimate, and further from Sector 150. The way is off the Expressway at Sector 94 or 37, across on the Sector 71 side, through Kisan Chowk and Gaur Chowk to Sector 16B. Near Jaypee Greens, the Sector 137 metro, Felix Hospital or the Amity side, that is a long trip with gold in a bag. A pickup is usually the better call for one or two pieces. For a large set that you want to compare, the counter makes sense. Read pickup or the counter, Noida Expressway to decide, and carrying gold safely if you travel.

More on the area is on the Noida Expressway page, the Noida page, and our home pickup page. Our locality page for Noida Extension has the counter details.

Can I ask these questions before I commit to a gold sell?

Yes, and you should. Ask on WhatsApp first: purity method, weight after deductions, and which rate. Our guide to what to ask on WhatsApp lists them. If you would like to talk it through, call or WhatsApp 9217742656 and we will explain how a pickup to your sector would go. Purana sona is easier to decide about when the numbers are on the table.

Questions people ask

What three numbers should I ask for when I sell gold? Purity from the karatmeter, weight after stones and clasps, and the rate for that purity. With all three you can check any total yourself.

Does a buyer subtract stones from the weight? Yes, stones, meena and clasps are not gold, so they come out of the weight. Ask to see the deduction and the gold weight left.

Can I get my gold tested at home on the Noida Expressway? Yes. A pickup brings the karatmeter to your table, and you watch the reading. You are free to say no after the test.
