Selling gold in Greater Noida West? Ask us about your piece before you decide.
Call 9217742656WhatsAppIf you want cash for gold in Noida Extension, the counter is the simpler choice for most people. It is about ten to fifteen minutes from most of Greater Noida West, and you see everything first-hand. Choose a pickup if you would rather not carry gold on the road. Either way, send photos on WhatsApp first and take your time.
We are Cash for Gold - Sona Do Paise Lo, at Shop 25, French Arcade, Sector 16B, Greater Noida West. Pickups cover Delhi NCR. The rest of this post helps you pick between the two.
Should I take my gold to the counter or ask for a pickup?
Both routes end in the same place. Your gold is tested on the karatmeter, weighed on a scale, and you hear the figure before you decide anything. The difference is who travels.
The counter is the better call when:
- You live in Gaur City 1 or 2, Sector 4, Sector 16, 16B or 16C, or across the road at Crossings Republik. The trip is short.
- You want to see the karatmeter screen and the scale facing you in the shop.
- You are bringing a few pieces, such as a chain, a pair of bangles or some old rings.
- You are happy to ask questions in person and walk out if the figure does not suit you.
A pickup is the better call when:
- You are carrying a heavy set, such as a full bridal set, and do not want it on the road.
- Someone at home cannot travel, whether elderly or unwell.
- Your day is full and the shop's hours do not suit you. We are open 9 am to 10 pm, every day, but a pickup still saves the trip.
- You would rather decide in your own living room, with family around you.
Nothing has to happen today. You can ask questions on WhatsApp for as long as you like before you commit to either one.
How far is the trip to the counter from Gaur City, Sector 16 and Crossings Republik?
These are map estimates, not promises. Most people in this area walk in or ride over in about ten to fifteen minutes.
The areas that people here usually come from are:
- Gaur City 1 and 2, and Gaur Chowk (Char Murti)
- Ek Murti Chowk
- Sector 1, Sector 4, Sector 16, 16B and 16C
- Tech Zone 4
- Amrapali Dream Valley and Leisure Valley
- Bisrakh Road, Kisan Chowk, Patwari and Vaidpura
- Crossings Republik, which is just across the road
If you live in one of these, the counter costs you very little time. For a longer look at the route, read Selling gold near Gaur City: what the trip looks like. If you are weighing a trip to another part of Noida, Noida Sector 18 or Noida Extension: which is the sensible trip compares them.
What does a gold pickup in Noida Extension look like, step by step?
A pickup follows the same process as the counter. Only the place changes.
- You message us on WhatsApp. Send the details listed in the next section. Ask any questions you have.
- We agree a time with you. You choose a time that suits the family, and someone should be home.
- We come to you. Keep the gold on the table and keep your photo ID ready. Why a gold buyer asks for your photo ID explains the reason.
- The gold is tested while you watch. The karatmeter reading is taken in front of you. If you want to know how, read How a karatmeter reading is taken, step by step.
- It is weighed, and the figure is explained. You hear the purity, the weight and the rate that went into it.
- You decide. If you say yes, we complete the sale and you are paid. If you say no, you keep your gold and nothing is owed. See How you get paid, and how fast for payment.
You can say no at step 6, and you can say no at the counter too. A pickup does not oblige you to sell. For more on the home route in general, see Selling gold without leaving home in Noida and Noida Extension.
What should I send on WhatsApp before I decide?
A few simple details save everyone's time. Send:
- Clear photos of each piece, in daylight, on a plain surface.
- Any stamp you can see, such as 916, 22K or a hallmark mark. If there is none, say so. A missing stamp does not stop a sale. See Selling gold that has no hallmark or stamp.
- A rough count of pieces, and the weight in grams if you know it. If your family talks in tola, Tola, ratti and grams helps you convert.
- Whether any piece has stones or meena. We buy only the gold. The shop does not buy stones.
- Whether you have the bill. Not having it is common. See Selling gold when you do not have the original bill.
- Which area you are in, so we can say honestly whether the counter or a pickup suits you better.
Photos cannot give a final figure. The karatmeter reading and the weighing decide that, and they happen in front of you. Be wary of anyone who names an exact amount from a photograph alone.
If you prefer to speak, call or WhatsApp 9217742656 and tell us what you have and where you are.
Is a pickup safer than carrying old gold to the shop?
It depends on the road, the hour and the amount. A short ride with two rings is a different matter from a full set in a bag. Many sellers in Greater Noida West choose a pickup for the second case, and the counter for the first.
If you do come to the counter, Carrying gold safely when you go to sell it has practical advice. Keep the gold on you, do not announce why you are going, and go in daylight if you can.
Can I get a better figure by choosing one or the other?
No. The route does not change the way your gold is valued. Purity, weight and the day's rate are the three inputs, and they are the same at your door and at our counter. The figure for your pieces is worked out only once they are tested.
What does matter is that you can see the process. At the counter, the karatmeter screen and the scale face you. On a pickup, the same readings are taken in front of you at home. If a buyer will not let you watch, that tells you something.
Read Cash for gold: the three numbers that decide what you are paid and Why the gold rate in the news is not what you get paid. They explain why a published rate and a final figure differ.
Which one should I pick, in plain words?
Ask yourself three things:
- How much gold is it? A few small pieces suit the counter. A heavy set suits a pickup.
- Can everyone who has a say come to the shop? If not, a pickup lets them be present at home.
- How do you feel about the road? If you are uneasy, choose the pickup. If you are comfortable and live close by, come over.
There is no wrong answer here. If you are still unsure, send photos and ask. We will tell you which we think suits you, and you can still change your mind.
