Cash for gold, Noida Expressway: pickup or the counter, and how to decide

Selling gold in Greater Noida West? Ask us about your piece before you decide.
Call 9217742656WhatsAppIf you are selling gold in the Noida Expressway sectors, a home pickup is the normal answer for cash for gold. No gold buyer sits along the Expressway itself, and the counter is about 35 to 50 minutes away (map estimate). Send a photo and rough weight on WhatsApp first. You will get a range and a time the same day, and the gold is tested at your table.
We are Cash for Gold - Sona Do Paise Lo, in Noida Extension / Greater Noida West, and our pickups cover Delhi NCR. This post is for sellers in Sectors 93, 94, 100, 104, 108, 110, 128, 132, 137, 142, 143, 150 and 168. Nothing has to happen today. Read both options and pick the one that suits your day.
Should I book a pickup or go to the counter from the Noida Expressway?
For most people here, the pickup is the better call. Three reasons:
- Distance. The counter is about 16 km from Sector 137, which is about 35 to 50 minutes by map estimate. From Sector 150 it is further.
- Carrying gold. A pickup means your jewellery stays at home until the buyer is at your door. Our post on carrying gold safely covers the trip if you do make it.
- No buyer nearby. There is no gold buyer along the Expressway. You cannot walk down the road and compare. Comparison happens on WhatsApp, before anyone visits.
The counter is the better call in a few cases. You may already be heading towards Sector 16B. You may want to sit in a shop and watch the whole process without anyone in your home. Or you may have a lot of pieces and prefer to take your time over them. Both are fair. The Noida Expressway page has the area detail, and /sell-gold-noida covers Noida as a whole.
What does a gold pickup look like, step by step?
The full process is on the home pickup page. For the Expressway sectors it runs like this:
- Send photos on WhatsApp. Lay the pieces on a plain cloth in daylight. Add the rough weight if you know it, or the family's old measure. Our post on tola, ratti and grams helps if the weight is in old units.
- Get a range, not a final figure. We give a range from what we can see. The real figure depends on the karat and the weight, and both are only known after testing.
- Fix a time the same day. Pick a time when you are at home. If you live in a gated society near Jaypee Greens, the Sector 137 metro or the Felix Hospital and Amity side, tell us the tower and gate so the visit goes smoothly.
- The test at the table. Your gold is tested on a karatmeter while you watch, then weighed in front of you. The post on how a karatmeter reading is taken shows each step.
- You decide. If the figure does not suit you, you keep your gold and nothing is owed. If it does, payment follows. See how you get paid, and how fast.
Keep your photo ID ready. Why a buyer asks for it is explained in a short post, and there is another for when you have no ID.
What should I send on WhatsApp before booking?
A good message saves a wasted visit for both of us. Send:
- one clear photo of each piece, or of the whole group laid out together
- the rough weight, if you know it
- any stamp you can see, such as 916 or 22 karat, even if it is faint
- whether pieces are broken, single or have stones or enamel
- your sector and society name
Please remember that we buy the gold only. We do not buy the stones. Stones, meena and clasps are not counted as gold weight, and the post on stones and enamel explains how that works. If you cannot find a bill, that is usually fine. See selling gold without a bill.
If you want to talk first, call or WhatsApp 9217742656 and ask what your pieces need before booking. A call is useful when you have an unusual piece or are unsure what counts as gold weight.
What do sellers in the Expressway sectors usually bring?
Sellers here often bring what a family keeps at home: old chains, bangles, rings, earrings, and sometimes a full set from a wedding. Some bring broken or single pieces they no longer wear. Others bring gold they were given, or inherited. None of this is a problem. These posts cover each case:
- Selling jewellery you inherited
- Cash for gold for broken chains, single earrings and bent bangles
- Selling one piece or the whole set
- Selling gold after a wedding
If you say "gold bechna hai" or "purana sona bechna hai", you are in the right place. The Hinglish page has the same information in the way many of us speak.
How do I get to the counter from the Expressway if I choose that?
The route, by map estimate: leave the Expressway at Sector 94 or Sector 37. Cross on the Sector 71 side. Go through Kisan Chowk and Gaur Chowk to Sector 16B. From Sector 137 this is about 16 km and about 35 to 50 minutes. From Sector 150 it is longer, so allow for that.
Check the map on the day, because the real time depends on the road. Carry your ID and the gold in a bag you keep close. The post on what to bring has a short list, and the visit page has the address. The locality page for Noida Extension explains what the area around the counter is like.
Is the cash for gold offer the same at home and at the counter?
The method is the same. Your gold is tested on a karatmeter, weighed, and the figure is worked out from karat, weight and the rate. Where you sit does not change those three inputs. The three numbers that decide what you are paid explains each. For the wider picture, see what a pickup is and is not and the cash for gold page for the Greater Noida West circle.
If you want to compare before you decide, you can. Check the gold rate, then read why two shops quote different rates. Ask any buyer the questions in five questions to ask before you hand over your gold. You can also say no after the test and keep your gold.
