Selling gold in Greater Noida West? Ask us about your piece before you decide.
Call 9217742656WhatsAppIf you live on the Noida Expressway and want a gold buyer, you can sell jewellery that has no bill and a worn or missing stamp. The buyer needs one original photo ID of the owner, and the karatmeter test settles the purity that paper cannot. We are Cash for Gold - Sona Do Paise Lo, in Noida Extension (Greater Noida West), and our pickups cover Delhi NCR, including the Expressway sectors.
Can I sell gold without a bill or hallmark on the Noida Expressway?
Yes. Most old jewellery in homes across sectors 93, 94, 100, 104, 108, 110, 128, 132, 137, 142, 143, 150 and 168 has no bill. The box is gone, the jeweller's slip was lost years ago, and the stamp has worn smooth. That is normal. It does not make the gold unsellable.
A bill only records what someone paid once. A buyer pays for what is in your hand now. That is its weight and its purity, and both are measured at the table. For the longer version, read selling gold when you do not have the original bill and selling gold that has no hallmark or stamp.
What does a gold buyer actually need from me?
One thing: an original photo ID of the person who owns the gold. Aadhaar, PAN, passport, driving licence or voter ID all work. A photocopy or a photo on your phone does not. If the ID is at home, nothing has to happen today. Fetch it and book again. The reasons are in why a gold buyer asks for your photo ID.
You do not need:
- the original purchase bill
- a hallmark or a readable karat stamp
- the box or the jeweller's pouch
- someone to vouch for you
What does the karatmeter settle that paper cannot?
A stamp is a claim. The karatmeter is a measurement. We test your gold on a karatmeter while you watch, and you see the reading yourself. That reading tells us whether a piece is 22 karat (the "916" many families remember), 18 karat or lower, whatever the stamp says or does not say.
Old chains and bangles from this area often carry a faded mark. Sometimes the mark says more than the metal delivers. The test is what counts. If it reads lower than the stamp, we say so and show you the number. See how a karatmeter reading is taken and what happens if your gold tests lower than the stamp says.
The figure for each piece is worked out at the table after the test, from its weight, its purity and the rate on that day. We do not name a number before that. Anyone who does is guessing.
Can I sell inherited gold, purana sona from my parents or in-laws?
Yes, and it is very common here. Many Expressway households hold a mother's or grandmother's set that nobody wears. The ID rule stays the same: the person named on the ID is the person selling. If several family members share the inheritance, agree between yourselves first who sells which piece. Then that person brings their own ID.
A very old piece is not worth less because it is old. Age does not matter to the test. Only weight and purity do. More in selling jewellery you inherited and gold bechna hai, in Hindi.
What if my gold is pledged with a bank or lender?
Then it must be released first. A pledged piece belongs to you, but the lender holds it until the loan is cleared. No honest buyer can take it before that. Work out the settlement amount with your lender and release the gold. Only then can it be tested and sold.
If you are still deciding between selling and borrowing against the gold, read sell the gold or take a gold loan. Take your time over that choice.
Should I go to the counter or ask for a pickup from the Expressway?
There is no gold buyer along the Expressway itself. For most people in these sectors, a pickup is the normal answer. It works like this:
- Send a photo and the rough weight on WhatsApp.
- You get a range, not a final figure.
- We agree a time the same day, if the day suits you.
- The test happens at your table, with you watching.
Keep the pickup in mind if you would rather not carry gold on the road. The counter is in Sector 16B. From Sector 137 it is about 16 km, or about 35 to 50 minutes, and further from Sector 150. From the Expressway, leave at Sector 94 or Sector 37, cross on the Sector 71 side, then go through Kisan Chowk and Gaur Chowk to Sector 16B. That is a map estimate. Traffic changes it. Compare both options on the Noida Expressway page, and see Noida Expressway: pickup or the counter.
Landmarks you may know the area by are Jaypee Greens, the Sector 137 metro, Felix Hospital and the Amity side. If you are near any of them, the pickup follows the same steps. Our home pickup page explains them.
What do I do next?
- Find the original photo ID of the owner.
- Photograph each piece on a plain surface, and note the rough weight if you know it.
- If any piece is pledged, release it first.
- Call or WhatsApp 9217742656 with the photos, and ask for a range and a time.
You can say no at any point, including after the test. Many people compare a second quote first. That is fair, and we explain how in should you get a second quote.
Questions people ask
Can I sell gold without a bill or hallmark? Yes. The buyer weighs the gold and tests its purity on a karatmeter, and that decides the figure. You need one original photo ID of the owner, not a bill.
Which gold buyer will come to the Noida Expressway? There is no gold buyer on the Expressway itself, so a pickup is the usual route. Send photos and rough weight to 9217742656 on WhatsApp, and you get a range and a time.
Can I sell gold that is pledged for a loan? Not until it is released. Clear the loan with the lender, take the gold back, and then it can be tested and sold like any other piece.
